Professional Summary

Hello, my name is Aisha Powell and I am a researcher, journalist and business owner! I am currently a professor/instructor at Howard University teaching speech 101. I am also a second-year Ph.D. student at Howard University. My work explores culture in new media technologies and black representation in foreign countries around the world. I'm interested in "cancel/call-out" culture, black people's migration to Russia and the Soviet Union, and all things black feminist thought.
